New Moulded Carpets for your Starion

Post by Camotec »

Hey guys,

I was looking through a magazine and saw a new carpet ad, and i was thinking my carpet was pretty shitty and i want it black so it went with my new interior. Anyways all up new moulded carpet front and rear with sound deadning and freight only cost $220.

$115 New Plush Carpet
$ 90 Sound Deadning
$ 15 Freight

They come in a huge range of colours too.
Anyways mine will be here soon.
Just thought if anyone was going to get new carpet they might wanna talk to these guys they can have it made and sent out the next day. which suits me fine :)

Yeah, new carpets are a bitch to fit.. looks good when done though. They always seem to be a bit loose over the trans tunnel though. I will have to pull mine up at some stage to fit some foam or something under it to bulk it out.

I've used them before on other cars and was very pleased. They are just around the corner, i think that they will get the nod for the starion as well. :D

Yes i used them for the carpet in my car, man i suggest when you put it in remove as much of the interior as you can, trust me it will make it alot easier on yourself in getting the bitch in there sitting right.

Yeah i am going to remove the bottom of the back seat, the front seats the centre console and handbrake console and the sill panels. I have a new center console thanks to WANTSOM which i have modified to take 3 2"1/16 guages a blitz timer and the headunit and additional pocket for wallet. (gotta love fibreglass) :D

Does anyone know of a good universal phone holder to suit nokia style phones?? that can be either screwed in and stuck on etc.

we put knox carpets in our 2 starions, but i wouldnt use the plus cut pile again, its forever creating fur balls around your feet. the loop pile works better, and is longer lasting.
i second the "it takes a day to do the job" thought.
you can get by with leaving the handbrake in place though.
a good time to run all those extra cables you have been meaning to add.
