Starion on Top-Gear

Post by MrBishi »

Most of you techo types have probably seen it on the interweb already, but the episode where Jeremy trashes a widebody was on SBS tonight.

I didn't know whether to smile or frown.

Pitty it was a widebody aswell. But i seriously doubt that someone over here would import one over here in that kinda condition so no great loss.

Hey maybe the starion will gain a little more interest and gain a few more members here.

Yeh there's a few threads about that widey, even a link back to the UK forum where the previous owner of the car talks about it. I think he got the car back afterwards as well.

the story according to the uk guys was that the overheating was more due to the fact that jezza hit a dirt bank on the first lap and filled the radiator fins up with dirt.... but they didn`t show that on tv.. and i believe the guy bought it back and fixed her up to the same stage it was at before the race & it got bent up...

It was a great show, shame to see a nice Starion wrecked.
Wish they had one done up to the max, and taken out on their lap/circuit that they do on their show. We could all see just how good a Starion handles.
