lol just a warning for you's out there, if you think you know how to modify your interior but are not sure. i would nor recogmend that you be like me and attempt it yourself because it did not goto plan the vynil paint ran and the middle console now has drips on it yay aint i a knob hehehe...
So if anyone has a middle console where the hand brake is uncluding the plastic parts for your change and electric windows i would lke to buy them, cause i'm a knob and farked it all up

definately wait until it's not windy - the wind will also blow dust which will mix in with the paint.
Might need to get some coarse sandpaper and really sand it back with some elbow grease.
Then when you repaint it, do light coats. Don't expect a solid colour with the first coat or two. THat way you only get a light coating of paint which wont run each time.

Might also be holding the paint can too close resulting in way too much hitting the surface at once...Try holding the can back further and do lighter coats. Did you use any primer at all? When I resprayed my center console, I did a few light coats of primer, then waited a few hours for it to set fully. Then start with a light coat of color..wait about 10 mins, then another light coat...
Repeat til finish is satisfactory. Worked for me anyway.

I used VHT color "Silver Satin" with an export clear coat came up nice as shown in picture. Both these products straight from an aerosol can.
