TOMSUN's Staz update with pics

Post by TOMSUN »

Staz with front bib spoiler refitted. Fits nicely behind the 600x300 intercooler.
Needs to be straightened but it will do for now.

EMS 8860 installed

Specometer gauges and Kenwood CD player.
I used Lexan for the face plate and sprayed the back of it black.

Autometer boost gauge fitted in the factory location.

Had to chop a section out of the back of the instrument cluster and wire in 3 wires to fit the gauge.

Just got the radiator recored $290. Fitting it tomorrow.
Just finished wiring in the computer today.
Should be trying to start the beast in the next couple of days.

That's looking the good mate.

The cooler looks tough at the front, and I love where you hid the ECU. Nice thinking.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it and hear it in action. :beer

chunkhead...

I'm glad you asked...

Well from a driving position and looking at the gauges (not clocks) in the middle the bezzel hide the reading. When mounted on the side I can read the full face of the gauge. It a practical solution... :D

mmmm....??? I don't like the white dash gauges... to much of a distraction while driving...

The white ones down low on the centre panel are fine... not a distraction while driving...
