intercooler size???? large pics

hi, i am going to fit a diffrent intercooler. it is the same width, but 3x as deep. will this is make a big diffrence??????


i am running around 20psi boost, 2.5" s/steel ex, large turbo, standard cam, port/polished head, forged pisatons etc.

any help would be great, :beer

How much difference the thicker cooler will make will depend on the type of core. However the thicker core should improve cooling efficiency.

i'd recomend gettin sum mandrel bends in there, the right angle bends you have at the moment wouldnt be helping much in the power department...

You really need a cam as well to get it to haul. My car increased 30hp at the wheels at 7000 RPM with a cam change! That's using a stock head!

i'd like to hear what cams are availiable, gains, price etc, and weather they would work with stock ecu.
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

What is the rev range suited to with that cam mrb1?
