Im Nervous!

Post by Barney »

Finally turning the key (actualy flick a switch) on the racecar.

Maybe Monday or Tuesday once we finish wiring in the Wolf. I have already turned it over without the spark plugs in to get oil pressure and managed 35psi at cranking speed.

Its getting close to the first race on the 18th of June so i hope there is no problems.

I have had a lot of positive comments on the presentation from fellow racers saying that it should win best presented car :D

I will keep you all in the loop, if your interested.

Thats GR8 2 hear ash! How about a video of the firing up? might give a few people an idea how easy a wolf is to get started, a few of yr finished engine bay wouldn't hurt either, to inspire other.
Good luck for the day, will be watching the progress.

Yes! Its always nice to see what some hard work has accomplished. Good luck with it, and as you probs know, watch out for fuel, water, oil leaks and any wiring smoke when u do fire it up.

Not Yet!

Almost finished still have to:

Find a good earth for 3 relays and wire up the TPS. Run silicon hose from the manifold to the Fuel presure reg, Wolf's built in MAP sensor, BOV and the external waste gate. Put fuel in it, fill up the coolant, double check the oil's.

The Start up map should be easy as i had the Wolf up-dated so it can run straight from the CAS. All we have to do is add a basic map from an EVO.

I will definatly post some pics for you all tomorrow night.

Thanks for the interest

I have been looking in2 a special price for AuStarion members as well, Nat is mailing some prices back with my 2 ECU that were upgraded (Ver4 & Ver4+), Seeing as yr company is a dealer I won't step on any1's toes.
