what front lip was that it looked pretty nice anybody know??

Nice time slip by the way :D

oh yeah if a stock standard vr4 with breathe mods can go low 14's i don't see why a vr4 into staz conversion shouldn't pull high 13's from the get go
How fast do those doorhandles go mate!

The dif is not no. tho with the diff housing and axels form one model hilux and the LSD center form another u can get away with no shortening. just need to weld up the leaf spring mounts and sort out the brakes.

Im goin a pajero diff in my galant and will probly run the starion crown and pinion.
will b interesting to see how long that lasts with 500+ hp nfront of it.
tho the next build will b closer to 800hp

standard gearbox life will depend on how much you are willing to 'sacrifice' it at the launch, for the sake of an impressive time slip.
Seen 11.2 sec from a us 2.6, but it ran the later 88/9 gbox and not on full drag slicks or spray either.

we did a 7mgte into an 83 rwd corolla that picked up the front tires on launch. Stanalone + t04 @20psi. The w58 gearbox had even survived (barely? notch 2nd gear shifts) slicks in the heavier mk3 before we puled the 7.... sure it will be ok in the rolla. Strong gearbox if ya ask me.

I too, will be looking to use the 3.54 starion lsd setup in a ute or truck rearend for my sohc 2.0 rolla.

rallyant, what recipee for 500hp and 800 ? 2.6?

The 500hp setup is relitavly miled.
60-1 Turbo(.70 comp a/r with P-trim 1.00a/r),
230 cam with 112 lobe sep,
preped and peend rods,
stainless o-ring block,
ARP mains,
B/S removed,
full balance,
Custom ex manifold,
and a lovely set of mahle pistons from ron.

The 800hp setup will run some forged Pauter rods
GT42 Turbo
Roller Cam that we are developing,
Fully preped head
i will make another ex manifold,
rest much the same. will run ARP in the head aslo
and more boost on avgas.
