I will post this here for EVERYONES benefit.
When buying a car....NEVER assume you own a car because you have made ANY sort of agreement with the person selling it.
YOU NEED A BINDING AGREEMENT WITH A DEPOSIT IN WRITING...and even then some morons will still sell the car from under your feet expecting you not to sue them. Get a deposit down and get it in WRITING that the car is fully sold to you. I know more than a dozen people who have lost their deposits or cars that they 'purchased' because they were late picking them up or a better offer was given 'after' your deal.

I have had people offer me money for cars that have been sold and not picked up, and the amounts have been far over the asking price. I wont go down this path. If you get a car from me and leave a deposit, then that car is yours, even if you leave it here for a while, even if someone offers me more for it. This is not so with alot of other people, Never assume ANYTHING.

(sticky would be good on this and other opinions also)

It's scary to think there's people like that out there. Then again there's people out there who kill so it's not that hard to beleive :S Did any other states hear about the random stabbings in adel city the other night? 2 guys driving around finding 2 differnet victims... Muchos Stupidos.

I've never had a problem with any purchases though, and looking back i've left some hefty deposits before hitting the bank up for the rest. But yeh, i've always had it in writing, full purchase price and deposit left with both signatures. Booyakasha

I hate when you say that you want to buy something, but because you don't live in the same city, it gets sold to someone else....

It's happened to me on here with a few items.....Makes everyone concerned unhappy.
