LxS, what has been done to the engine? I ask because if the engine is stock then that power figure would seem a tad 'optimistic' to me.

why is there no topless chick in a g-string sprawled on the bonnet?
I figured out the meaning of life, and since then every day just gets worse.

Pffft, I dont need some ugly !^%#@! to ruin my car thankyou :P

Cookie: Engine is stock, 2 1/2in exhaust, port and polished head, FMIC, TC05 turbo/front housing from a US quest, 14psi & air filter... sorry to rain on your parade but it's hardly optimistic..

It hit boost cut and was running lean due to not having a aftermarket comp. I can show you the video if you dont believe me..

LxS,

5 words "Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator"
that will sort your fuel problems without the ECU change in the short term.
its what I am running now, Hope to get mine on a dyno soon.

Another 3 Words "Love Your Car"

Happy Bithday LXS, geez your catching up to us :)

Good to see a non MPI motor producing good numbers, maybe poeple might start trying to extract power fom the stock inlet instead of thinking MPI is the only way to get power.

Car looks awesome, as allways :)

you'ld be suprised how much power you can push through a throttle body injection, just over 220kw atw, maybe a bit less due to 8 valves but still a long way to go before thinking about MPI.

Thats a very nice car LXS, and that colour just tops it off !

Btw, how did you bring your wheels out again ?

I am running the Stock ECU yes. and a rising rate regulator will give more fuel for more boost, just dont go pushing 18psi unless you want to pour your pistons into a new mould :)

but for 1bar of boost 14psi it is fine, if you need more fuel then the next step is just to install a bigger fuel pump to keep that pressure up, but i am using the standard pump and its fine... mind you i had a leaky boost adjuster which was pushing the boost up to 18psi which ofcouse killed a piston. Being rebuilt as we speak, should have mine back mid next week now.

BTW, what is the front housing similar to LxS? a TC06?

us quests run a td05 (not sure on the wheel, i think its still a 12a), so it would be a td05 front housing?
