Or get the 8" Fronts and 9" Rears
I've got 9s and 10s under my stock narrow body.

Surely you can go even bigger on a wide body?

Phil
You can get 12's on the widey's rear with the right offset. I had 9's on the rear of my JA and had a couple of inches room left in the guard.

Glen, Apart from being LHD, USA widey's came in a few different spec versions. They also came in an early and later series, the first being 1986/87 and second 1988/89, with upgraded ECU's and driveline. Also, they were sold as Dodge/Chrysler Conquests as well as Mitsubishi Starions. They had leather interiors and roof mounted sliding seat belts (similar to Merc and BMWs). The later 1988/89s had a sports handling package (SHP) which included wider 8" and 9" wheels.

Mick, I cannot disagree with you there. The only other stock bodystyle I like is the FD RX7.

Yeah, I wish I could trade you my 86 widebody for yours! Mine's LHD, of course, and I want RHD BIGTIME! Actually, 86 was the last year for the front seatbelts being on the doors, instead of automatic, like the 87/88/89 models. Mine is a Plymouth Conquest, and my wife's is the same year and color. RED. One excellent trait that yours has is the fact that the underneath doesn't look damaged from lifting with a jack (between the front and rear wheels). I see SO many that are bent up there. Congrats!!! :beer

TOMSUN, yes, I have been to WSID already just to see what it would do. I can tell you that a 100% stock unboosted automatic widebody will do a 17.1@76MPH :D:D:D

Thanks for the offer. PM sent.

Are you offering scum? :D

I think the exhaust/cat is blocked :D unfortunately the cat is right behind the turbo in the dump pipe, so a complete exhaust system may be needed soon.

That and a manual conversion ;)

NXTIME, take the dump pipe off, and gut it. Just get a large metal pipe, and bash it into it, and get it all out. They do it all the time in the US and it make a hell of a difference especially if it is blocked.
