first of all is the atomizing spray nozzle. these aren't cheap about 130 bucks from a hose and fittings store but was the only option for throttle body water injection. they have a small amount of ajustment via an internal srew and also have a 20 micron stainless steel filter to keep out the crud. only prob with them is they need 45+ psi to atomize the water properly.
next was the flowjet pump. its only small but is a diaphram pump therefore positive displace (high pressure). they have a 35psi cut off switch on the top but as i found out there is an adjustment screw to change the cut off pressure. so i wound the screw in and now i'm getting 67 psi water pressure which means my nozzle is working great. they also have a check valve to stop the reverse flow of water, this pump is the smallist in the range the larger one operate at the same press. but with more flow (which we don't need) it cost 120 bucks from springers 12/24 volt store.
the adjustment srew. clockwise for more pressure anti clockwise for less. this also is a great help with regulating the amount of water being injected per min.
this is the nozzle working at 67psi the water is highly atomized perfect for water injection.
the last thing is a on off solenoid. this is a simple one used in a self timed garden watering system. it operates on 12 volt and has a 10mm orifice. this should be position as close to the nozzle as possible to reduce lag. because the pump has a press shut off switch it can be left on(keeping pressure in the system) and the solenoid can be opened for an instant delivery of water when the system press drops the pump turns on and as the solenoid closes the press increases and trips the shut off switch. the solenoid can be operated by an aftermarket ecu or by a pressure switch on the inlet manifold or by a manual switch.
