i believe they have em in the US, try one of the US forums, or search in this forum, i think a little while ago there was some discussion here about them just a little while ago.

Of course, shipping would be pricey...

Yeah, I've seen this stuff too. A new bonnet and a new stereo are about the only things I want to do to my car when I get it. So if anyone can help...

Unless we get it done here, there isn't a JB Carbon bonnet arouind atm.

US Guys love the JA bonnets, so they are making JA Carbon bonnets.
JB Carbon bonnets would be MUCH easier to make due to no scoop, and I would be interested in one for sure if they are going.

There would have to be a fair bit of interest as getting moulds made is really expensive.

As for the vent vs no-vent.

I actually like the vents now. Even with its rangi paint job and front kit hanging off, I much prefer the look of my GSR-X (JB front, JA bonnet) to my EX (JD), and in all honesty I get more of a 'woah cool' when I look at my white JA GSR-II than I do the EX. Only thing I like about the EX is it knows what 'go straight' means.

I think the JB/JD fibre bonnet is a good idea though. Not just for looks, but performance reasons. Makes it easier for people to use their own vent designs - basically a bare template.

I like the vents and scoop look of the JA, and personally I would rather a JA carbon bonnet but I have never seen them. All I really want is a carbon bonnet cause I have read that getting some of the weight off the nose of the car lets it break a little smoother.

No scoops all the way. The JA one with scoops in carbon always comes out looking a bit odd.

Check the US forums to see.

i'd be up for this as i currently have a jb bonnet with a vent cut out for my v mount, would like it in carbon fibre so i wouldn't have to worry about heat screwing it around and bubling the paint ( yes even with a heat shield on the turbo). Plus they look cool. so count me in for this.

Scoop is blocked off from factory. That area of the bonnet has very low pressure at speed, so even if you open it, air doesn't really go in at all. Common recommendation is to open up the two side vents though.

i wouldn't be too keen on one of the bonnets from the states if i were u, looks like the land of litigation is at it again tearing strips from each other. Probably not a bad idea to read before thinking about offering such a product. www.starquest.com

wouldnt trade my JA bonnet for anything :)

vents are pointless. but it gives it the whole... sports car look... the flat bonnets just look bland.
