3)are we better off with narrow or widebody parts?

4)what offsets do the narrowbody 5 stud use?

5)what offsets do the widebody use??

1) what parts do we need?
- Rear 5 stud/4 bolt CV Hubs
- Front 5 Bolt Hubs
- Disks

2)how much $$$
- Rear 5 stud/4 bolt CV Hubs US$110.00/AU$155.00 (SET of 2)
- Front 5 Bolt Hubs US$90.00/AU$122.00 (SET of 2)
- Disks (Depends on cust choice, grooved, drilled both, plain)

3)are we better off with narrow or widebody parts?
- As far as the hubs they will be the same thing from wide or narrow as long as they are 5 studed. Widebody are easier to source as not many flattys here stateside.

4)what offsets do the narrowbody 5 stud use?
- 6.5"x15" offset of 18mm .7"

5)what offsets do the widebody use??
- Front:
7"x16" offset of mm(in.) 18mm(.7)
8"x16" offset of mm(in.) 18mm(.7)

- Rear:
8"x16" offset of mm(in.) -10 (-.4)
9"x16" offset of mm(in.) 0 (0)

Yes the short Shifters are still available and they are NEW.
You must use parts of your old shifter to assemble the short shifter.
I had two for sale but they are sold so I have to buy them at the new price from the re-seller at USD$150.00 /AUD$205.00 + postage (No Mark-up you pay what I pay). I sold my two for USD$140.00 shipped.

Cookie posted a how-to on a homemade shifter, definatelly cheaper. Check it out it may be al alternative.

Hey Rally

Mate I have found the 8" sets (4:625's) for the US LSD diffs, but still looking for the smaller 7" sets for the AU Diffs. I knew the 8" were not the ones you needed so I did not contact you on them.

The smaller sets are even more difficult to locate specially in good condition.

in relation to the discs, the rears i can get redrilled over here, but the fronts do they have 5 attaching holes or 4 like the 4 stud ones? i would assume 5?? how much for a new pair of front slotted discs to suit??

Dave,
the widebody front discs do not mount by bolting to the back of the front hub (like JA,JB,JD) they are like our rears they mount over the wheel studs and so are completely different.
I am researching the same conversion however the main unkown is the front caliper brackets.
The Widebody disc is bigger in diameter so the caliper must mount further out somehow???? The caliper bracket that's part of the strut assembly may be different or the mounting bracket/non-sliding half of the caliper may be different not sure???

hope this helps,
Mark.
