looks like im actually being allowed into oz by your lovely customs/immagration people finally so i could be there as little as three weeks from now...

sooooooo........ who is in brisbane or more specifically Wynum(sp?) can anyone tell me what the area is like? am i heading into slumland?

ive been told that il find employment pretty easy there, and ive got cheap (ie, crashn with rellys) accommodation.

Nah, that's Wacol.

I'm in Morningside - probably 15 minutes from Wynnum. Don't think it's too bad (although it's very close to Lytton which is fairly industrial) - near the bay north of Manly which is definitely not slumsville.
