Engine Bay Pics???

Post by SIR GSR »

Just wondering if any of you guys out there would be able to post up pics of your engine bays?

I have a really strange thing in the back passenger side of my bay, and I was just wondering if anyone else has it too....

Thanks guys.

It's like the oil catch can, but about 3 times the size. It's not hooked up to anything though....Held on with cable ties

That's where it is.....

Doesn't really look like that though. It's bigger, with only 1 tube coming out the top. It's also got an inline fuel filter attached to the top. It's connected at the bottom to what looks like a fuel line.....Steel pipe that runs down under the firewall with the fuel lines....Haven't gotten underneath to see where it goes.

I have two of them. Mine have vac check valves on them. One of mine is used for my cruise control and is above the steering, the other (location similar to pic) I have no idea what its for. I figured it was just to prevent sudden changes in vac or something. They have two pipes each and both of mine have vac check valves to allow flow in only one direction.

I've got one of those too, rear wheel ABS. That thing is huge, and once again same location as in that picture.

Where's it meant to be connected to? I've had the car for 3 years and I haven't ever had it hooked up.
