Post by gotrice? »

standard ja rims are 6 inches wide, so with the 15 dish rims the rims will stick out another 21.5 mm

You sure? The dish rims should stick out a further 15mm than standard.

By 15" dish rims we mean the 15" rims which have a dish in them.

They will stick out 15mm more than a standard rim.. which should be fine.

Done some calculations and it says I'll have 17mm LESS Inner Clearance.
Will the tires rub on the inside?

Dude, you are really struggling with this...

Factory Offset: +18mm
Factory Width JB: 6.5"
Factory Diameter: 15"
Factory Tyre: 215/60/15

New rim Offset: +9mm
New rim Width: 6.5"
New rim Diameter: 15"
New Tyre: 215/60/15 (you won't be able to go too wide a tyre on that width rim)

New wheel will sit out 9mm further and you will have 9mm more clearance on the inside (compared to a factory JB rim).

Note: Dish and diameters don't matter in this calculation.

PS: Im getting a set of 17" x 7" with 225/45/17's $1,000 tyre and wheel package deep dish) and a set of bolt on spacers approx. $300.

225/45/17's is the widest tyre they recommend for a 7" wide rim.

Those rims with 225 tyres will just clear the strut on the front. May require a 5mm spacer to be sure.

I have 16x7" wide +20 offset and 225 tyres and I can just get my little finger between the rear (sidewall) of the tyre and the spring mount on the strut. Rear has plenty more room.
