A mate of mine works at a local HSV dealer and the guy who does the servicing on them etc came across a disposable camera in the console on one of the cars. From what I gather he's able to set the speedo/tacho to whatever he wants with his plug in tuner irrespective of what the car is actually doing.

So the story goes that this was a 1000K service for an oil change and the mechanic leaves a pic of the speedo showing 260Km/h at some ridculous amount of revs.

Not sure if its entirely true or just BS but f*ckn funny just thinking about the look on the owners face when the film gets developed just the same.

With my supra box, rev limit at 7200 rpm(haltec), and twin cam (yeah baby!), I managed 260kmh with 500 rpm to spare, and i don't have an air con, so i can't tell you if it makes a difference! i have upgraded suspension, so it didn't "float", i relly hate it when that happens.
PS Does anyone else have a towbar on their staz? I'm towing a trailer to the riverland easter long weekend with mine. should be interesting!
