*removes cloak hood and steps out from shadows*
1400 dollars later midas replaced everything they could in the front of the car. Not to mention they completely missed the rear steer in the rear left wheel that is not meant to be there. c^ck suckers. THe steering is not fixed. the problem must lie in what they couldnt replace. the drag link or some shit. so there ya go. shit loads of play and tie rods and the rest replaced.

i have spent over $1500 dollars on my steering reconditioning the steering box, drag link power steering pump replacing all of the rubbers etc it steers like a new car more responsive than a commodore or falcon

yes u can actually get the drag link reconditioned, very specialised process, fulcrum is the place 2 go..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

oh yeah and the best way 2 check ALL of the steering components 4 play is get someone 2 rock the steering wheel back and forth rapidly about 4 inches with the engine off and car on the ground at ride height while u scope everything out with a torch and a coupla eyeballs................ :beer

most of the problems are due to the steering joint rubber failing.

or the clamp on the steering joint is not tight!

Does anyone know any places I could get my relay rod(draglink)reconditioned in adelaide no longer avalaible from mitsi?
Or if anyone knows where i can get one in good nick?
Any help much appreciated. :?

fulcrum was about $350 they may only be in QLD you can allways send
