Have I blown my clutch?
ok... First time I drove my car on my P's by myself today, ( ) I changed from 3rd to 4th on South road and heard a vibrating grounding ... hard to explain noise coming from the bottom of the car / engine
Got home and decided I'd go to mechanics to see if they can find out what the noise is.. Got to the bottom of my street and my Dad called so I stopped on side of the road, put car out of gear and left the engine running.. Once I'd finished the conversation I put foot right to the floor on clutch and gear stick didn't go into any gear... pumped the clutch and tried again.... once more, it wouldn't budge... Tried it in reverse and CRUNCH. Took it out of reverse then it slipped into 1st and I was able to get home in 1st gear the whole way...
Now, gearbox won't go in gear while the engine is on, but when its off it's happy to go into all gears... could this be a clutch problem? My car's now off the road and STUFFED
I'll drop the gearbox down, but just wondering if anyone's had this problem before and will it cost me big $$?
Cheers for reading!

Oldschool Drift Machine.
Sounds like you have broken it to me. I've done it about 6 times - cracked the centre of the clutch. On a couple of occasions I could still drive it for a week or two (with difficulty as it was a gamble as to whether it would shift or not), one time I snapped the entire centre section out..
Anyway, if things have broken off (like the torque springs etc) you will probably hear noise as things fly around in the bellhousing :) If it happened suddenly there's a fair chance this is what the problem is.
Toysrus - a car fitted with a clutch cable doesn't have a master cylinder. And the Sigmas/Scorpions don't have a clutch fork either.
