CONFIRMED... the ones for aftermarket Adj shocks have a 15mm opening vs the 12mm for the OEM struts. So I have two of those in Aluminum if you still want them.

NO these are the REARS, ONLY the fronts require Sperical bearings to be able to move with steering. Check your OEM Rear Strut tops. They are just a simple top hat/spring perch. Nothing moves around on the rears just up and down motion

Well.....im thinking since the strut has a lower slip in solid mount it needs some movement at the top. As the lower arm travels it moves the strut left and right on the axis of the arm, making it want to push the strut top to the centre of the car. Its not much, mabey 1 or 2mm.. infact mabey a spherical is not the right way to go here, but some kind of cushion may need to be used if its a street app. at the top. I dont think a race car set up would need it though. Have you ever seen the std units how they chop out at the top? Or is that just my driving.. what u think?

You have a point BUT the Original design does NOT call for any type of bearing spherical or otherwise. The original top is just a solid chunk of rubber and steel frame. see pics bellow.

My understanding is that the factory rubber mount on the rear has the flex that allows for the movement and these now don't have the rubber.

Having said that, I made a couple of adjustable rear mounts about 6 months ago that look nearly identical to these and I have had no problem so far.

I have received BOTH payments and the plates will be shipped shortly from Los Angeles as these aluminum plates were made by the original member who designed them. And he is the one with the overstock or old new stock of these.

Will let you know when they ship. The plates will ship Priority Airmail so expect them between 10-15 days from date of mailing.

Yeah, thats all cool. I thought any movement would be taken up by the rubber anyway. How much Neg camber do these babys give?

As far as how much adjustment it will depend on several factors.
1- How lowered is your car at the moment.
2- How much are you willing to open the original Strut hole to allow for increased adjustment.
3- Wether you have OEM Springs or Coil Overs

if you KEEP the Original top opening as is then you will have minimal adjustment due to the limited amount of space available for the strut shaft to move. So expect somewere between 1 and 2 deg of adjustment in either direction. Now if you opne up the hole on top a bit to allow for more adjustment you will be able to go aprox. 3 to 4 deg in either direction or more depending on how far you are willing to go.

Also if you have ORIGINAL Springs you will be limited because the springs will hit the inside of the strut tower, this will NOT happen if you are using coil overs as the springs are smaller in Diameter thus allowing for more room to adjust.

From what ive noticed, most street starions could do with a set of these to eliminate the negitave camber problem they suffer... As soon as you lower them slightly the tyre wear becomes a problem.

Thats the MAIN reason for these. I personally hate to have premature tyre wear on the fat 245/45/16's that I run on the widebody with the SHP wheels. I mean US$140.00 a tyre times 3 cars every 5 months is no fun.

I am currently working with a lcal shop here in California that is wiling to make FRONT camber Plates (Strut Adjusters). As of now he has quoted me aprox USD$200.00/AUD$266,00 per set if 20+ sets are ordered. And they will be similar in design as the ones made by Cusco. (SEE PIC BELLOW) So keep looking here in the first of the new year as I may have them ready by then.

Well after a NICE and SHORT 24 day Vacation I am now back home and I am getting things ready to start shipping the rear Camber Adjusters. Those who have allready paid will have their order shipped within 48hrs of TODAY. Any new orders will ship shortly after.

Shipping will be via Air Mail so you should see your parts within a week and TWO weeks at max. So be patient and they will be there shortly.
