I believe it would be better to make it in two peices, because if the dam was to get damaged, you are then able remove it and replace repair.

The problem with one peice designs are that if you break/catch the dam on a kerb, you are then stuck with no bumper at all. That would just attract the attention of the police, beleive me I know.

I have made moulds and layed glass and carbon previously. Just remember that the mould will cost about three times what the product is worth. It needs to be made with tooling gel coat, parting liThere would need to be a comitment to buy before making a mould.

Previous moulds I have dealt with cost about $1000-1600 nz for a 323 bumper, My mould for the JA lower air dam cost about $300nz.

It is costy but you want a well made mould that is easy to part and will last.

Just my advice.

BTW Im pretty keen to buy if you do decide to go ahead.

I can take my JD front bar and airdam to my friend and get him to quote it if your all serious about getting this done?

And like kiwistar said, if you shred your airdam you can just replace the one peice, not the entire front bar (like the coltspeed one)

I'd be very interested, LxS. Find out the cost and see if it will be a viable proposition for the time, expense and trouble involved.
