Is this completley carbon fiber or is it a fiberglass frame which is Carbon fiber Covered (extremly common)?
Usually the cheaper ones are just fiberglass moulds which have been covered in carbon fiber.
This would be a great way to reduce front end weight, which effectivly increases weight shift to rear as the JA bonnet weighs in at 15Kg and a Flat bonnet weighs in at about 13Kg

Judging by the posts on their forum, this one is a complete CF composition, not a combination of fibre and CF which is cheaper and more common (but will end up with a heavier finished product).
The weights that they were listing were around the 19lbs mark for the CF bonnet, and 33-38lbs (bit of confusion there it seems) for the standard JA bonnet according to them. So its a fair whack lighter.

not unless you were looking at getting it made locally - and then everyone would have to agree.. it took the US over 6 months to get to the current stage.Chris 83JA wrote:Would it be possible to get them made all one piece (vents not seperate bits), or would that make the mould too complex?

Im sure it would be much easier to make flat styled ones, as theres be no mucking around with the scoop.
