Carbon Fibre JA bonnet

Who would be interested in getting these made???

They are currently making them in the US and it looks nice. It is much lighter, and we can always get them sprayed.

Yeah, guys, just hold up till they sort the glitches with the Scoop bit being flat. I know Carbon Fibre is strong how so realistic is it that it is bendable to fit perfectly ? or will they probably make another mould for that piece ?

The wieght saving is going on 6Kg which is the same as replacing that fat 15Kg Battery of yours with a nice 5Kg one
Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D

I was thinking more along the lines of US getting it made in AUS like they did, we get a bulk order, and then get a company to make it, might be able to pull it off cheaper.

well these are chinese made, so wouldnt the shipping be comparable unless they are doing 20 in one hit and then distributing among the US

Group buy - manufactured in Australia

or

Group import from overseas.

Either way is fine with me.

Also interested in this group buy. Need a new bonnet anyway, might as well fork out a bit more and get a nice CF one.

I'm in for this if it goes through :) would it be posible to get it without the front vent inserted/glued in as i'd have to make an opening on it anyway for a vent i've got waiting around. :) depends on price of course anything above 1k and i'd be out.

I am in. I might speak to a guy who makes carbon spoilers/bodykits to get a locally made price comparison.

EDIT: CussCuss, if the US ones are made in China, perhaps we could go direct to the Chinese maker and have them sent here direct. Shouldn't be much of a price difference.

Would it be possible to get them made all one piece (vents not seperate bits), or would that make the mould too complex?
