pics Dave, post some pics.
*Takes sunglasses out in readiness*

Funny story from the weekend.

Dave comes round to my place Sat morning. Pulls up all smiles from his 1st long drive with the new motor. Sings out "have ya got a 13mm spanner, I need to adjust the idle control". No probs, I head off to the toolbox and start walking back. Dave sings out "have you got a fire extinguisher". Holy Crap!

Seems the leaking fuel line to the filter had captured his attention a wee bit more than the idle speed. All ended well with no flames or anything. Funny now, not so at the time. :D

rofl

I betcha the smell from the Fire extinguisher powder won't go away in a hurry too :P

That is the worst thing that can possibly happen to your pride n joy though  .......like you can fix most minor collisions/accidents and people scratching your panels but once its on fire, its almost a lost 'cause to try and repair it afterwards unless it's like a 1/100 in the world......
Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D

whats even sillier is the connection that was leaking was one I loosened 2 weekends ago so I could attend to a potential fuel leak issue on the fuel rail. which I duly rectified etc, but forgot the connection to the filter had been undone to allow the hose to lay up without any kink or stress!
go figure.
