Mitsubishi Part No: 080 Turbocharger RWD Exhuast Housing ??
Mitsubishi Part No: 080 Turbocharger RWD Exhuast Housing ??
Okay, even though they don't have them in stock here or in Japan, like with the Split-Pulse manifold, they can get the mould out and make one, just that I have to wait like 60days for turnaround which is fine by me.
So the question is, can anyone with the Mitsubishi Starion manual try to find the Part No: or if anyone has purchased one before a long time ago and kept the reciept, get me the Part No ?
Thanks in advance :P

Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D
Hi again guys,
This has now become a MAJOR PRIORITY since I've just found a huge read like 8cm long crack on it.......
What is the exact difference between the two Part Nos' ??
Is it the horizontal angle of which the Housing entrance/exhaust manifold exit sits at ? or something else, I rather just go on what I can see then Chassis no's...if I can :P
Thanks in advance !

Also what are the chances the centre cartridge of the Turbocharger unit is still ok ? Anyone have a Part No: for that aswell incase it's not too expensive, I will probably just order it aswell....while I'm chopping their balls into getting the moulds out LOL

Im not too sure about the differences in the numbers, im just reading it from the microfilm of part numbers that i have.
As for cartridge assembly
- up to FA183MCZ4-00899 - part no. MD613700
- after above - part no. MD613701
if you just ask mitsubishi they might be able to explain what the differences are.

Well I am not sure about those exact part numbers. However if you have a look on my web site on the turbo page you can see the difference between late and early turbine housings. Note sure when they changed?toysrus wrote: What is the exact difference between the two Part Nos' ??
They changed the rear cover plate from thick steel to sheet metal.
The centre section is the same but you have to have the correct cover plate to suit your turbine housing.
If you have to change the cover plate you need the take the centre cartridge apart :(
