Personal Best

Post by Darkelf »

The Elf set a personal best at the weekend!! Now a member of the 200 club! :D

Unfortunately the road ran out as we were heading for 220+ and I forgot that the air con was on. Not sure whether it would have made much difference at that speed though. Anyone know???

Yes, running out of road would make a difference to the speed.

Okey Dokey!

Cookie, you are such a smart arse! :)

Al, you aint kidding. Started to go into a bend at that speed and yes reality hit. he he he!

Wantsom. LOL Should have seen my undies! Ewwwwww!

Sirius. yeah would have liked to have tried for the 230. My old man reckoned he had 235 out of her when she was brand new but I'm not sure I believe that. As I said I ran out of road. Well I started to head into a long sweeping bend so it meant easing off.

TD was in 5th Diffs a 3.5 LSD

Suspension

Post by Darkelf »

Deeks, dont know about suspension. Mine is pretty firm. New shocks all round about 18mths ago.

The thing I really noticed was wind noise. Man did the wind whistle at that speed.

Spose it could have been my sphincter tightening! :)

This was all done on a private road of course, Darkelf. :D

Good stuff. The Starion really likes to get up and boogie in the top gears.

hats

Post by WANTSOM »

What if the best speed you can get is 69Kmh - do you get a hat with that on it?

Could get a bunch of people with the slowest Starions on the planet.
