The Starion is back on the race track.
I did a lot of work to the suspension, Adjustable Koni dampers, Custom spring rate King Springs, I put in one of Grumblys front strut braces(excellent work), Nolteck adjustable strut tops, Polyurethane bushes, Ferodo racing brake pads.
I have been busy.
It turns in really good. It is very rough and bumpy on the road.
I need new tyres now.

Good one. What spring rates are you running? Also what effect did you notice with the front strut bar?
I have mine on now as well it seems to turn in a bit differently.
Miss GSR: How does it sit now when you corner it hard? What sort of lap times were you posting?
It turns in really good. I have very little under-steer. It is slightly taily. My lap times are worse then last year which it a little disappointing. Last year I got around the track in 1:10.1. This year I did 1:10.25. However my tyres were better last year, and I had a lot more practice driving last year. This is my first time out on the track this year. When I get used to the car and learn how to drive it I think it will be very fast.
airbats801: oo I want some information on the adjustable struts. Any modding to get them to work, whats the noltek adjustable strut tops?
They are Koni adjustable dampers. I will find out the model number. They were re-valved to suit the spring-rate of the springs. There was some cutting and welding to get the rear dampers to fit. The front ones were straightforward. Adjustable front strut tops look like this.
They are camber and caster adjustable strut tops.

Front 350 lb/inch Rear 250lb/inch. I have done so much work on the suspension I have no idea what difference the strut brace made by itself. The whole package feels pretty good.

ahh camber plates, and caster, I have some cuscos laying around, so that isnt a problem, please get me the part number for the konis though. I already have coil overs, camber plates, and strut bars, just need some good struts now :D

I have the weight recorded in my logbook. When I am back home I will look it up and post the weight on the forum. It is heavy. The roll cage is heavy.
What spring rate springs have you put in you car Cookie?

They are a "bolt on mod". I know it is unusual to have any bolt on mods available for the Starion.

And I assume you guys are running such high spring rates more so as a result of using standard/stock dampener rates, correct ?
