electrician apprenticeship

Post by madeofmilo »

hey guys, how are you all?
I'm quitting uni (hate it) and doing an apprenticeship, just wondering if anyone here in melbourne is an electrician and looking for an apprentice or knows of one.

Cheers Dave
My JA has perfect motor - FMIC - forgies - high flow head but...rusted front guards and keyed on every panel. Time to get serious or time to take it to the tip.

Matey I work for one of the larger Electrical Wholesalers in Australia. There are plenty of opportunities to get in on this game.

My advice would be not to wait for a response and do something a bit different to the rest.

Call on the stores/outlets of the bigger wholesalers like Rexel  L&H (nah on second thoughts frig them), TLE, Middendorps Leckies etc and make enqiries as to which sparkies are looking for apprentices etc and get a number and call them.

These guys are busy and generally bloody disorganised so you ringing them will a) show some initiative and secondly save the tigght arse bastards the cost of a phone call and might just land you the job.

If you progress with this let me know some of the names and I can let you know the reputation and standing of a potential employer :beer
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
