I realize I may be opening a can of worms here but I have to ask.. Why do we have to put up with owners of other cars putting Starions down on this forum. I also own an Evo which is on another level to just about anything and is awesome but I would NEVER put Starions down. And you know why? Because the Starion was not only so far ahead of it's time it's not funny , but NO OTHER JAPANESE CAR HAS EVER BEEN AS SUCCESSFUL IN MOTORSPORTS. No other Japanese car has been Champion on a National and or International level in Rally , Touring Car racing , Endurance Racing , Hillclimb etc. . The Evos maybe catching up BUT the only car Internationally that would be on the Starions level of success would of course be the Porsche 911 and to a lesser degree Mini Coopers. But both these have been around a lot longer than the 8 years of Starion production. :D

because, like any car.. they have their problems. some focus on just the problems, while others. they love them regardless.

I owned a starion before the cordia I own now, and I still miss the starion. They're both great cars and we're all car enthusiasts, or we wouldn't be here. The fact that they're made by the same manufacturer is enough for us to have a bit of fun joking at each other's expense :D

If you genuinely believe that we hate starions and are bagging them out in earnest, I suggest you pull your head out your ass and re-evaluate :)

Mr toysrus , I never mentioned anything about hatred or bagging them out in earnest . I only made the Post because I've never seen , on any other Forums I visit , drivers of other cars saying anything negative about the cars the Forum is dedicated to . Even in jest . The comment about me having my head up my ass for making the post is unfortunate and doesn't show a very high level of maturity, given the context .

I notice alot of older motorheads seem to admire the starion with great respect, probably because of this fact.
