Post by rosco »

I Have acess to a magical computer program that gives you paint code names from codes (I sell auto Piants for living) I want to compile a detailed list of starion codes under the following categories

JA, JB, and JD.

What I need from you guys is the paint codes off your build plates just post up in here and i'll add them to the list

in this thread someone mentioned the code UE - New Safari Red which also uses the code R73, can anyone confirm this is a starion colour off their build tag? UE/R73 has different tinters in it to R47. I know UE is off an 84 pajero (i mixed this at work a few weeks ago) just want to see if it was used on a starion as well before I add it to the list

Cool, I thought it would be good to get a list of the colours for easier colour matching etc as well as knowing how many colours they came out in. That list is good but its a mitsi colour list not just starion. I added a few more from the codes listed in the starion registry.

Paint code should be on the build plate man, if its an original 2 tone it`ll have 2. is that car a really early 84 built jb? with the two tone paint (which i`ve never seen a ja have) and 14 inch ja style wheels (which i`ve been reliably informed the first jb`s had) or it could b an import??? yes i do realise bonnet & front bumper r probably from another car... as for the blue widebody, check the starquest site they have american paint codes on there apparently....
