tarck differance narrow body to widebody

hey guys just thinking to much again is there any diff in the track from wide and the narrow? i would think so or they just use wider factory wheels
keepin it sideways 24/7

yes, about 20mm from memory. They also use wider wheels and change the offset of them to centre them.

I just went out and measured them (rear only) JA is 1410mm rear and widebody is 1465mm rear.
The suspension is the same however the 5 stud hubs and 8" rims give the different track (not sure how much each contribute?).

Where did you measure to/from? I didn't think it would be 55mm

From memory, the arms give an extra 25mm track and the 8 inch wheels an extra 20mm.

it is 38 mm a side so 76 the rear wheels are off set 38 the front is on susp arms so you cant offset as accaman will be all wrong..cheers .....

Hey man I walked outside and measured from the centre of the tyres? I can check it again I guess?
The widebody has factory rear 16X8" rims and the JA has JB factory 15X6.5" rims.
It would seem actually measuring a car rather than people saying it should be this or should be that would be enough :roll:
I will ask LxS to measure her car.

HEY LxS measure your car :D.............if it's different to what I have don't tell them :twisted:

Mr Bone is just about correct. The difference between the narrowbody and widebody track width's is 60mm. (1395 v 1455mm).

widebodies had those 16x9 rims also ;)
