Starion at Qld Jamboree

Post by NXTIME »

Anyone have any info on this Starion at Jamboree over the weekend? It apparently ran a 12.9 quarter mile:

Thanks for that David. I was told 12.9, but these mistakes happen ;)

Did you tell Mr Cox about the upcoming QLD meet? I've never seen the car before.

I have, I think it used to be owned by Anthonies Brother. The guy doing work to Gary's car. Obviously sold now. Because it used to have Milk, bread ect down the side of the car as the shopping list

If this is the starion I think it is, he lives on the sunshine coast, i believe he has another starion too, maroon jb or something like that.

I think it used to live up there, and now on the coast. As I said, I think it was anthonies brothers car. And he lived on the sunny coast. Unless it is a look alike

jamboree starion

that surely is David Cox's car, from the sunny coast and he will be at the starion cruze, with plenty of info. He now runs a workshop, so he will be offering his services to the community.
The car ran 13.9, this car is STOCK, thats right STOCK, standard turbo, standard management, jd intercooler, standard injectors, open wheel diff, only some mild head work, and a fuel cut defender. 20psi :)
If you want to make your starion go for cheap, speak to this man

OK FCD and mild head work do = barely modified, but not in the full realm of modified though. These are very basic things that can be done with minimal fuss or time. the point is 13.9, little money.
