3.785 litre's in a gallon so at AU$1.40 a litre that equates to AU$5.30 a gallon, so at the current exchange rate works out we pay about US$4.10 a gallon for fuel over here mate so we haven't exactly got it made. :x

Yeah I worked that out too, thet get it cheaper over there because 1) Not as much shipping costs, because it comes from over there, well some of it, and 2) Their goverment aren't fuckheads like John Howard who put a tax on a tax and then so on.

i have been lucky in a way, my cars been off the road for more then a week, so i been using other peoples cars. already saved my self $120 in fuel. i saw 91 for 140.9c that would make 98 abot 150.9, now for me that works out to be about $113.20 to fill up! and i use just about a tank a week.
quick sum: 150.9-10%(GST)=137.18-37.5(the other tax)=99.68+10%(GST)=109.65, for 98oct. :glare:

Is that octane? I wouldn't run my lawnmower on that.

That is pretty low isn't it. Makes me wonder if they are in fact lying about the octane content of fuel over here

Here in Wellington, NZ
91 $1.559NZ
96 $1.609NZ
98 $1.648NZ
Diesel $1.019NZ

prices are per litre, and are expected to pass the $2 mark before christmas. They're replacing our 96 with 95 at some stage soon as well, so not sure if I should use 95 or hunt down BP's for 98.
