Shepard runs 8.13@178

Post by NXTIME »

John Shepard in his Mitsu Talon has smashed the world 4 cylinder 4WD drag record again with a run of 8.13@178MPH at the 2005 NOPI event in the USA:

Still using the factory 5 speed with dog gears and retains unibody. 4G power at its best ;) Races a black Starion on that run too.

This car is way out in front and still uses a manually shifted factory gearbox with dog gears, whereas its competitors need to use a tube chassis and custom air shifted box to even get close :D

Computer games don't affect kids I mean if PacMan affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music :D

Untubbed alright. You can fit up to 12 inch wide slicks under there. Very few factory wheel arches can accommodate that.
