geeze. Recaro are pretty expensive, i know Sparco are a little cheaper. but where the frig can you buy them in melbourne?

beware.... not cheap at all exept for 1 model fixed one.
they do ship, put in an order and check it out and you will get the shipping charge, it isnt too much iirc, was sure as hell cheaper then the shipping a local shop quoted me.

Don't want to put a damper on the party, but you are seriously better off buying recaro's...
There's a very simple reason. Cop pulls you up:
Cop: "Why do you have racing seats, you know they are illegal? I'll have to canary you for that..." <condensed version>
You: "But Recaro's are ADR approved."
^^^^ ADR'ed seats don't need engineer's certs (in vic) unless you do serious modification to the seat rails.
Recaro's are among the few brands (Saas and SOME sparco's) that hold ADR approval. To my knowledge there is not a single "fixed" bucket seat (ie: non-reclining) that is ADR approved.
