broken windscreen... help!!!

hey i just found a huge crack in my windscreen so obviously i will need a replacement. does anyone know if you can get them, and how do you get the black platic vent piece off from in front of it? any help appreciated... dont you just love starions... it can always get worse

The plastic grille will pop off if you lever it from underneath, but be careful it will probably be brittle.

As for the window - hm start ringing around. It may be possible to buy new reporductions.

:) Slowboy new windscreen no problem i just had mine replaced yesterday,

$250 fitted only had to wait about 10 days and thats tassi so some of the

bigger outlets on the mainland would get them in overnight , its one of the

few things you can buy for the starion thats available (and doest cost heaps ) :)

Just about any decent glass replacement place will have them. Between $200-$250 fitted.

Hey slowboy, same thing happened to my galant two weeks ago. Someone decide to throw a bottle at my windscreen when parked outside my gf's place. Small crack turned into huge crack 2 days later :x

Just rang up Windscreens Obrien, found one in stock and had it installed later that day for $250. Only took about 40 minutes.
I think they are a bit more expensive than most but they are the best and most professional. According to my gf's dad anyway, who is a panel beater.
