lightening the flywheel

how much should i get my flywheel lightened too?

what is a good weight for it too be after it has been lightened?

This wont get you much more power but should gain you more response, have heard that boost will drop during gear shifts and supposedly not good for uphill or something like that ???

lightening the flywheel shouldn;t get you any more power at all just quicker pickup and might even loose some top end but still the starion flywheel is fucking heavy!

anyone lightened theres and what did it turn out like?

u.s. guys take a whopping 15 lbs from our 36 lb flywheel. Most say they can feel the effect, others say not worth it.
I'll make that one single change with mine, so I can see first hand

took mine to 3.5 kilo with a 1.5 kilo clutch..so dont worry bout going too light

I got mine done on the Sigma 2.6 - flywheel is essentially the same. Got it down to 9kg from around 15. Not sure it was worth it though. It did make some difference, but if you compare the benefits vs. getting feet cut off by exploding flywheel, i'd say don't bother. If you really want a lighter one, you're better to buy a steel one.
