Rant....Starion off the road

got absolutely PUMPED last night.. i mean i've heard about people getting screwed over but really - this has got to top it off.

mmm over $600 worth of fines from both police and epa and over 10 items/defects to clear at the rta, everything from minor to major grounded work, got red stickered and had to get my starion towed home

and for the first time ever, it was on a tow truck able to run. i begged and cried and complained and nothing. got told to leave the car to be inpounded or tow it home. so $130 on top to trailer her home

i'm suprised they didnt take my lisense and stick it up their asses too
it's going to be an interesting month

please excuse rant - you can imagin how much this would hurt

I prefer the term "ASS RIPPAGE" when the homo police have too much sugar and pick on an individual. Don’t get me wrong there’s some Great cops out there but man some of the cops are just power hungry morons. Like up here they’ll target P platers and yellow sticker their car if it’s made before 95 Even though the senior constable drives an old rusty tojo landcruiser.

Unlucky, LXS. Where exactly was this defect station?

They aren't as bad or hard to fix, although alot of them are quite petty.

It is the fines and the hassle of it all, as well as the cost of changing/fixing things.

If you need anything, let me know. I have a complete car that you can get parts off.

one db can very easily be reduced without changing anything major. I once reduced my exhaust system from 97 to 93 by simply reducing the size of the exhaust tip ;)

red turn signals, i know why youve got these, ive got a set on the way too, theres a way to modify em tho, someone on here has cleared em and then all you have to do is paint em orange i guess.

With the US spec tail lights, you can replace the red indicator lens with an orange one off an AUS spec set (I used JB ones, but JA ones may work). This involves removing the lens cover by heating it up (same method as clearing the tail lights) and swapping the indicator lens over.

I guess LXS plans on replacing them with AUS spec ones then refitting the US ones. ;)

but it's a laugh anyway..

was on M5 going for a cruise - M5 was blocked so had to go through bay street, cop was parked on the far right lane so no one could turn right.. i though it was ok, went past him..... he pulls in behind me....

pulls me over on the grand pde. and tells me to follow him back to the defect station in rockdale.

i wasnt doing anything wrong, initially i thought they were just pulling me up for red blinkers (the reason they are red is cause i have US conquest lights)
the seat... you guys know what the leather is like in the starions, over time it's cracked and just split and gotten worse and worse..

anyway, still dont think it's a fair defect...

That will have him on report and unpaid until the investigation is done...and theres no proof of anything.
I like good cops....I love to fuk up bad cops...once you know your rights and you stand up for yourself they cant do much... but lately, i have just been outrunning them in the 300.
