Dearest Gav,

So good to hear from you. Well it does seem you're having a cracker of a time (you prick.)
Also read with interest of your transport and travel arrangements, nice! (you prick)
Been there two weeks already and this is the first oopportunity to write hey. Must be busy testing the quality and alchohol content of the local breweries to get an independent assessment. Good thinking (you prick)
I do trust your switch from 4 wheels to 2 wheels hasnt got anything to do with a decreasing amount of travel funds. Hate for your adventure to be cut short by a lack of financial resources. (you prick)
Still, its a lovely time of year over there, what with the warm summer sun and plenty of tourists and locals out and about, tho I expect it could get crowded in all the bars and cafes with young women backpacking there way through Europe during their Uni break. Expect you will try and impart your Aussie "bon Homme" on them to help broaden their 'cultural experience'. (you prick)

Anyways, as I said, good to hear from you and glad your keeping well. Must go now and do some work as I need the money to pay the heating bills and car repairs.

Your friend
Greg

Augsburg Germany

Cool, I was in Germany last Year! Beautiful country, I was in Freiberg Mainly, spent a day in Frankfurt and was in Hamburg for 45 minutes waiting for a train which was cool as I got to have German MacDonald!! Their Mc Chicken Burgers Rule over the aussie Version This thing was like a six inch sub!!!! Then as I was waiting for the Train, Eating maccas I look up to see a 3 carriage train full of BMW’s!!! 3 and 5 series I Think, also had a few coupes. Just amazing!!
I stayed in a Backpackers Call BlackHouse or Something, as it’s in between the Valley of the Dead and The Witch valley, Spooky Huh!? Cool thing was they had a few didgeridoos in the living area so I got to show them how to Play (I’m Part Aboriginal).
Was also in Russia For a Week not as fun though that place is just too dark and dreary, it’s like smile for fudge sake, Everything was covered in soot no one wore bright colors And a Café tried to sell me a rat sandwich! No English so the waiter was acting out the animals, she was like MOOO, I was like ahh cow, quite funny! Corruption is alive and well as if the cops threaten you with an over night stay then you just pay them about $50 Australian an you can go on your way! Though got to see a done up M3 Coupe Looked like a skyline as it had Graphics, Drift wing on the Back and CF Hood! Also a Boat similar to captain cooks that was actually brothel on water!
I'm Back

Get yourself down to the Nurburgring and pay a mere 13 deutchmarks for a lap of the circuit. It will be the best thing you ever do, and when youve done that...do it again! There is no speed limit and you will get to cut a few laps on the best circuit in the world. Then head down to the pistenklauser pub where all the motorsport people will be and add your name to one of the walls with the Australian flag or Race cars there! you can add it next to mine!!! If you are allowed into the main circuit, go upstairs and if you can see the BMW Motorsport room you may be lucky enough to see what their door stop is to keep the door open.....a genuine BMW F1 1.5LT 1500HP QUALIFYING GRENADE ENGINE!!! Shit, I miss that place...............
