Hi folks. Looks like Im having a few issues with my JA starion.
When I start my car is drives perfect and when it heats to boost level and I boost it, it drives just fine.
HOWEVER!!!
After about 20 minutes and/or a bit of boosting, suddenly everytime I accelerate, when it gets to 5psi, its like there is no power in the turbo and my engine revs higher, my car doesnt really get faster and it backfires a bit with no power.
Pretty crazy eh? I think so. Any ideas would be super.
:)

You checked spark plugs??
Just replaced mine after some symtoms of power loss early in the rev range, they make a world of difference.
NGK: B7ES, .8mm Gap

Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

Nope, that's the temp switch that turns the electric fan on. The two coolant sensors (one for ECU, one for temp gauge) are mounted on the inlet manifold, under the thermostat.Starion_Turbo wrote:that sounds like the thermostat if its on the radiator.
