this is the new google earth program its about 10mbs its pretty cool for you city people but the picture quality lacks in the county ie Broome!
But you can see the houses pretty clear in perth.

What it is:
Its a virtual map of the world that you can zoom in on areas of interest.

The pic changes from area to area on google maps (the online version). The most recent ones that I could find were just under 12 months old (areas of my old school that were under development that are now finished)

Too bad the eastern suburbs of melbourne are in crap quality, it doesn't even get a good picture of the MCG, though telstra dome comes up quite clearly

has anyone used it to look for starions yet??
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

thre's also a nasa one that's about a 180mb download, but it's satellite only (no aerial photgraphs) so you can't make out individual houses. It's better for looking at geographical thingies though, and has a better 3d mode.

On the google one, try looking at the White House in washington. You'll notice that the roof has been blanked out, as have to roofs on the 2 buildings next to it

yeah down loaded the nasa one but 130mb and not that clear, wasn't worth it.
