US Shipping $$$
can anyone recommend the most cost effective way of shipping a starion 'supra' wing (tailgate spoiler thingy) from Maryland USA ?
i make regular use of USPS global priority for smallish items and this works a treat. Unfortunately this item will be too wide to be shipped via this method.
I'm guessing UPS, DHL, Bax etc. Has anyone sussed onto a decent -cost efficient freight forwarder based on experience ? As an indication I've had a tentative quote from UPS of US220.
thanks guys

Why don't you just buy one locally? They are available here and should work out cheaper and be easier.

Wasn't aware these items were available in AUS (dammit) - short of getting a mould made up.
Assuming we're talking the same thing do you have contact details ? Too late for me as I've already commited via recent ebay purchase but I've heard of others in MEL interested in this item.
This is the best shot I have of the 'Supra' wing (perspex thingy across top of tailgate)
- thanks Chris83JA for temp use of image

Haven't seen that design before; looks cool in clear
The pic below is one I've just purchased from the US (off a widebody). I'll have it colour coded to my Staz. This one is similar in design to Graham's (red JB above). I've seen a couple come up on ebay(US) over the past two years and they are hotly contested by our Conquest friends. This one had ~30 bids. The one pictured below seems to be the norm for the Conquest. Fortunately I came through this time; just need to ship it - I'm chasing up a quote via USPS. Maybe I can get a mould made up when it arrives.

Yes, these are available on local MA65? Supras (mid 80's) - the ones that also have similar wheels to the widebodies ;)
Try the aussie Toyota and supra forums or local wreckers.
