JB Starion

Post by JDSTAZ45 »

Hi Fuel,

I was fortunate enough to sell my JD this week (for a bit less, ie. between(4-5K) by mainly having it advertised
on the net - Drive and Carsguide.

Your car is a brilliant example and should fetch the 8K mark! Especially the mods carried out.
Having owned a JB before and restoring it to mint, I reckon the money you're asking for is a steel.
Like others have mentioned, be patient and a new buyer will come along,
(usually in the early 20's looking for an alternative sports car away from some of the imports.)

If I didn't have my widebody, I definitely would be interested! :beer
Imports.

Thanks for your input.

It seems that people looking for starions dont really want to spend over the 5k mark, even though they will probably spend another 5k after the purchase on fix ups and mods.

If it doesnt sell thats ok, I will keep it.

Ok it looks like it may be a better option to return this JB to stock injection, ecu, cam and remove the intercooler and sell it that way.

I will accept offers around $5500 for the starion running with the standard engine setup, i will leave the hi-flow turbo included.

I would also like to hear from anyone interested in a Wolf3dv4 with loom, hand controller, laptop cable and software and all sensors. L300 manifold with RX7 injectors, and also the custom intercooler with piping to suit the L300 manifold. I will sell the items seperately if required.

Or maybe someone will buy it as is. :)

Someone please buy this damn car. Awesome value for money. Don't let the standard injection go back on.. it's sacrilege.

echo Mr monsters comments.

Fuel - have you placed it in Unique cars or Just Cars magazine? Just Cars used to be free....

I am surprised no-one with a stocker looking to do it up hasn't taken the plunge with this instead. I've spent far more and haven't even got to the MPI part yet.

Luke,

Now you're really starting to worry me :o

You're moving to the dark side too quick; houses, weddings, kids ? Once you've gone there's no return.

Looks like I need to catch up with you on the w/end to set you straight.

btw my car's back and purring nicely with forgies

FOR GOD SAKE SOMEONE BUY THIS CAR AND PUT US OUT OF OUR MISERY (It's a steal, I've driven it and it hammers and is very very clean)

Luke,

You are breaking everyone's heart, just keep it!!

This is an absolute mint JB. Pictures do NOT do it justice. If only every car on the road could have the fit, finish and go of this car.

Good luck with it Luke, and please don't knacker this fine Starion.

tom.
