Yes, that is true, wheel nuts will need to be bought to suit the wheel and thread combo, but I was more referring to aftermarket wheels that are off these cars. Now why would you want 240Z wheels on a Starion?

There are other factors that also need to be considered, such as centre bore diameter. But but there are centre bore rings that can be used to make any larger centre bore wheels fit correctly as a larger centre bore wheel will place the load on the studs if a c/b ring isnt used to make the wheel hub-centric.

The guy that bought my car has a set of Lenso 17" 5 spoke wheels on it, they look really nice, untill you notice that 26mm spacers he had to buy to get them on there! They are machined with their own studs, but they must place one hell of a load on the wheelbearings... I'd steer clear of spacers all together.

hub spacers should be fine as far as stress goes, free floating ones generally arent as there is too much stress put on the outside of the stud. Free floaters are definately illegal, <10mm may be safe and unnoticable but there is no way i would go over 10mm without getting hub spacers or extended studs ala cookie.

Moving the load point of the wheels outward is never going to be good for you bearings, could play funky mumbo with the powsteering aswell.

I'm happy with my front mags.
But wanted wider mags for the rear so I could run 265-295mm tyres for drag. So I hope there is something out there for at least the rears.

i have some mags on my car, "dori2" or something like that. little gold mesh looking things. came from japan, very, very light. and weak i assume :D

does anyone know if vr4 rims fit cos i've got some spares with good tires and my staz rims are starting to rust + can't be bothered getting em off the vr4 rim heheheh

4g6beat, they will fit but you will need spacers, if not bolt on hub spacers. Only one way to find out :)

You could always measure the back space of the VR4 wheels and I can tell you if they fit (theoritically). The backspace is the distance from the mounting hub of the wheel to the inside (back) edge of the wheel.
