i guess this thread wasnt such a good idea.. i know how it is to not have money to do anything to your car, i didnt have a job (and didnt get the dole) for about 8 months, then went oversea's for nearly a month.. and my starion was looking like crap for ages, sometimes it just takes someone to really point out how bad it looks for you to actually do something about it.. now im working and am trying to finally get it painted (ORANGE!!)..

i keep my nice starion in the shed. where the aircon can rain crap down upon it and make it look like i has not had a wash since new. once every 3-4 months or so i hook it up to the dingo and drag it around 4 a while just to remind it what outside looks like. and to stop my nice new wheel bearings from going funny, and to stop the breaks from rusting. then it goes back in the shed and gets crap rained all over it again. i suspect that this is where alot of nice starions are.

Post by Jesusdroveawestfield »

My Starion is definitely a shed starion too. She only does about 3,000 k's a year. when I die they will be able to say it was owned by an old man who only drove it to church on sunday and guess what they will be telling the truth !!!
You should check out my link to pbase and as for not wanting to spend any money on it in case I wont get it back my mate who has a ferrari jokes with me and says when I sell it the add will read
" For sale Mitsubishi Starion receipts for $30,000....$6,500 ono"
He reckons you can never over capitalise on a Starion rofl
No I dont think you hit a sore spot. I dont care what people think of my car, I drive it because I like starions and they are unusual.
