Need help from the old timers (CAMS)......

Post by toysrus »

Okay the story goes, I used to own a pair of those 3Kg Fibreglass seats with basic padding/material (about $300ea) but passed them on a while ago. These were purchased back in late 95 in Qld and I called the place back up to find they don't remember to well what brand or who manufactured them etc

Now about a year ago, I saw it on eBay with the name and I think the manufacturer was down in Victoria or N.S.W but forgot to write the name down and am now kicking myself cause I want to get another set back again :crying

So can anyone help me/point me in the right direction, pleeeeeeeeeease ?

I may be way off the mark but SAAS, who used to be in Moorabbin VIC, sell seats (and have done for many years). Try this website http://www.saas.com.au/prod_saas.asp

Try RPM Racewear stores - I have seen them for sale in there. They are used in Group Nc racing.

Cheers

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

Hey Greg,

Do you have a partiular store ? Phone Number ?

I think you mean Revolution Racegear who sell RPM Racegear suits, correct ? They sell OMP or Cobra seats, well I still called RR here in South Australia and he had no idea :(

Is there an Australian Forum for the CAMS guys where I can ask this question as they would probably have a better idea.......?

Yeah its Revolution.

Only other thing I can think of is the historic Group Nc association. They have a website but dont ask me what it is.
