Post by bodeo »

Hi,

I have a highflowed TC06 turbo for sale (has a VL turbo compressor whee), also comes with exhaust manifold. Has been used for approx 30,000 and has minimal (normal) shaft play.

Im selling due to upgrade, looking for $150 for turbo and manifold (firm)

Hi,

Yes, its a straight bolt on setup for a starion. The core and exhaust housing are standard starion items, so is the compressor housing except it has been machined to suit the bigger VL wheel.

And yes, it bolts straight onto a cordia as well. If its for a cordia then you wont need the exhaust manifold.

I also have a custom FMIC for a starion, comes with piping to suit a MPI sonata manifold.

Cheers

Matey, every turbo i have purchased from people from austarion have been considered as 'rebuilt a while ago so should be ok'...and have been throw aways. The problem with these turbos is that they get driven until they begin to blow smoke, and then when they are at that stage and the oil that it has been runing on hasent been changed in a while, they get buildup behind the rear ring seal and destroy the most expensive parts of the unit...exhaust wheel shaft and core. Starionchef sold me one for $300 and i trusted his description, yet again, it was trash. Sounds like a thread coming up called 'who not to trust'...

Blacklist is too kind... c#@**list is better.
I did get a manifold from Troy as well, which was badly repaired and cracked, but i fixed that up and managed to use it.
