could be a custom intake, cause the l300 and the standard injection doesnt look like a novelty condom :P

I've seen some mitsubishi cyclone engines with really thin mpi throttle bodies , I think thats what he means.

18psi on a tc-05 with no intercooler? What are the internals like?

my guesss would be black, and possibly charred.

hands up for a piece of smoked piston ring. if not already, has to be soon, intake temps would be quite high.

Anything over about ~13psi with no cooler will ping its nuts out.

Yea I run 13psi on a stock cooler, wouldn't ever think of going over it, theres a reason for a factory fuel cut :roll:
