Injector flow?

Post by mrb1 »

Hi,
can anybody tell me the flow of the standard "black" JB injectors?
Also are there any other types that will fit that throttle body, maybe throttle body 12A turbo ones?
I found some green ones not sure what they are out of (or what they flow) but they do fit (ie. same style). I can dig around but maybe someone can save me some time!

thanks,
Mark.

Can't answer your flow rate question but years ago I replaced mine with some from a used jap motor place. I later found out they only had 2/3 the flow rate of the Ausy ones. The jap Starion motor was different performance. 18 months ago I got the last 2 genuine ones from Mitsubishi. You don't want to know what they cost. So flow rates defintely very even if they fit.

flow rates

Take it easy on us old and infirm geezers. I just forget to remember sometimes OK.

Charlie - the question was what is the flow rate for standard JB injectors. Chef knows but wont tell and reckons he told me once.

Then again maybe I do know and am testing you yunguns.

Cheers
Greg

I read somewhere that Jap injectors are 300cc and the larger injectors were 390cc.

I'm only about 20% sure that is correct. Just a guess. Wanted to post it to see if I was right :)
