Okay everybody the mould has been given the go ahead. :D :D

We've got a guy who lives near me to make the mould. He is a trained fibre glasser who works for a place who makes body kits, so he knows his stuff. quality work

it seems i might lose my wing in the process, so i'm going to get one of the fibreglass ones too, which will leave 9 for sale at a pretty good estimate of $350 delivered to your door, requiring a signature. people still cool for a go ahead?

We will get the mould first and a sample. This will be taken to SA people to get definates and some sort of deposit. Pictures could be posted for interstaters and SA peeps could comment.

Of course SA people get it cheaper as no packaging required or delivery cost.

It is cheaper if we order more due to material costs. But we dont want to over commit. That price is what we get if we order 10.

Hold off placing orders as yet. we will produce the mould and sample first. Just so every one is happy.

quality check sounds good, get local around to form an opinion for the rest of the austar people. Depost sounds good before the 'mass' production, can use it to put towards production (gadget helping me out with the other half now cos i can't afford alone), pack them nice and bubbly fresh and check out the price of insurance. not having to ship of course will make it cheaper as gadget said, so national meet in SA then? hehe

is there anything polyeurethane can't do? :D

should be a bit easier being lighter and a solid underside to fit the original... considering i've had it for almost 2 years now and it was still sitting in my garage waiting to go on! and it almost did at the beginning of the year, but then i got the zx, so now i have to share with everyone... pffft.

And some make shift scaffolding. May I recommend a closely parked Magna and some two-by-four.

Sorry for the late reply. He is still making it. His supplier held him up with materials. He makes it in his free time and after work. This way he keeps the cost down. Half the payment has been made. Decoy will have to hand over his half when the time comes.
